After purchase, you can download and view your digital sheet music in the Musicnotes Player for iOS app.
If you have tapped the "Play" button , but are hearing no sound being played out of your device, this can be caused by one of several different things.
- Check the Product Information
for the music you are attempting to play. In the "Information" window, you will want to verify it shows "Product Type: Interactive".
- Additionally, this information may also be visible on the "Full Library" screen of the app.

Please note: Playback is not available for:
- Products that show "Product Type: Non-Interactive",
- Personally imported PDFs.
- Check your device's volume level, either:
- Verify your device is not in Silent Mode. Depending on the device model, this may be either:
- A physical control (a switch or a button near the volume buttons), or,
- Located in the Control Center (iPhone or iPad).
- Please note: If you are on the Musicnotes website, viewing a product page and attempting to play the sample preview of an interactive product, having Silent Mode on for your device will result in no sound playback.
- Verify your device is not connected to an external audio device (headphones, speakers, etc.).
- If you have not already done so, try restarting your device, then attempt to play your music again.
