Please Note: The Musicnotes Player for Windows program is considered legacy software; it will not receive any future software updates. This article has been retained for resource purposes only.
You may continue to use the program, however as time progresses, you may experience more and more frequent issues when using the legacy program to access your purchased music.
Additionally, this legacy program will be unable to access newer product types that may have been purchased under your Musicnotes account.
For the best digital sheet music experience, we recommend either:
- Downloading and signing in to the Musicnotes Player for Windows app, available for download from the Microsoft Store for computers running both Windows 10 and Windows 11, or,
- Signing in to the Musicnotes Web App in your web browser.
To view playback for the additional keys that your title is available in, open the Musicnotes Player.
When the Sheet Music Manager screen appears, login if prompted.
- From the "Sync My Music" tab in the Sheet Music Manager in the "Key" column, you should see a dropdown arrow where you can select additional keys to view or sync
- If you do not see this dropdown, click on the "Sync My Music" tab where unsynched titles will be listed, and the "Key" field will be available
- Select the key(s) you desire and click on the "Sync" button to the right of your list to resync your music
You may also click on "Options" from within the Sheet Music Manager window and put a check by "Include All Transpositions with Sync" to ensure future downloads automatically sync all keys, and not just your purchased key.
Please note: Certain types of products - including, but not limited to, Guitar TAB, virtuosic arrangements or Marketplace arrangements - cannot be transposed.
Additionally, because the Musicnotes Player program for Windows is now considered to be legacy software, Musicnotes will no longer be providing updates to this program. You will be unable to download Non-Interactive products and Marketplace arrangements. We recommend downloading the Musicnotes Player for Windows app (available from the Microsoft Store for computers running Windows 10 and newer) or the Musicnotes Web App
